Description
The San Diego Life Sciences Trek is a two-day program designed for PhD's and PhD students in bioinformatics, computational biology, genomics, data science and related disciplines who are interested in exploring career opportunities within industry. San Diego is a top life sciences market in the US, where companies are curing diseases, saving lives and drumming up innovative solutions for the world's most pressing health challenges. These companies are looking for the best and brightest to help them change the world. PhD's and PhD candidates from across the country are invited to attend. Meals and local transportation are provided both days. The program is free to attend, but participants are expected to cover their own travel accommodations.
Disciplines welcomed: Bioinformatics, computational biology, molecular biology, structural biology, chemistry, pharmacology, toxicology, biophysics, genomics, genetics, data science, and more.
